✅ Interview Waiver Expansion
- Many F1 (Student) & B1/B2 visa applicants now qualify for interview waivers if they had a previous valid visa within the last 48 months.
- This means no physical interview for eligible repeat travelers!
✅ Visa Appointment Wait Times
- Still high in India, ranging from 100–250 days in cities like Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai.
- Emergency slots available only for medical, funeral, and study-related travel within 60 days.
✅ DS-160 Application
- Must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled interview.
- Ensure all answers are accurate, consistent, and match your supporting documents.
✅ SEVIS Fee for F1/J1 Students
- Students must pay the SEVIS I-901 fee at least 3 days before interview.
- Carry printed SEVIS receipt on interview day.
